This is true. I'll be in Reno for the month of May before heading to Iraq, then I'm moving back to Reno for goodsies.

Bumpage.

Looks like Fred's Lemon's team is short two drivers. We had 5 with a pending 6th, but one backed out and the other didn't commit.

Right now we've got Fred, me, and a pair of local rally folks: Michel and Guy (I think Nick and Alex know them from their rally involvement over the last few seasons).

So, Fred is looking for two more drivers for the race... buy-in is $500 each, which covers your entry fee (including the temp race license for the weekend if you don't have an SCCA or NASA road race license). The team is looking for folks w/ at least some time trials level experience that will be moderately comfortable in traffic. The car is an '85 VW Golf with some decent Craig's List suspension on it... so hopefully you're comfortable w/ a pushy FWD car that likes to be LFB'd to turn.

Let me know here if you're interested, or hit up the RenoSCCA thread about the event: http://www.renoscca.org/forums/showthread.php?t=352

It's too bad that the Hawthorn N Vs S Challenge is the same weekend. I'd like to go watch.

Yeah, I realize a bunch of potential lemons folks will be out of town, but I figured I'd post this up anyway.
