I don't think there is an AWD dyno in Northern NV yet.

Other than "road dynos" (software), is there even such thing as a single dyno that can measure power of both AWD and 2WD cars, and actually give numbers that can be realisticaly compared to eachother?

Normally it's pretty unrealistic to compare numbers from one dyno (real or virtual) to another.

I know I can log my car with my own laptop and Ed can use his software to give me numbers that should be realistically comparable to numbers he's given me before (when he's up here and measuring with his laptop or just from other logs I've done before). Of course there's tons of variables so slight variations don't necesarily mean the car is more powerful, could just be a couple degrees cooler that day...

You could try asking Sierra Sierra Enterprises really nicely

Just wanna clarify. The road that was used in justins car was slightly downhill. I was just showing gains before and after he fixed his transmission. I tweaked the map and it made about 22 Whp more and 30 wtrq. I would say the car mad high 290ish Whp and 320-330 torque. Overall good numbers and fun to drive

Sierra Sierra does not tune cars however you can rent dyno time and can tune yourself or bring a tuner. Also there is that place in sparks that has an awd mustang dyno now but i forget the name. i called over there and it was extremely unprofessional. Sierra Sierra is worth the drive and money you pay for dyno time just in getting to see the operation itself.

FYI a completely stock 05 sti made 212whp uncorrected on sierra sierra dyno for reference.

Gotcha...never heard about that...but I guess at something like 30 psi of boost that's bound to happen.

haha yea thats low boost on the old turbos they used (garretts) however those just came apart! litterally
this is before they switched to the BW EFR turbos which are yet to fail, make more power, and spool faster! what they have done is truly amazing!

In the small area where the stock intake made more power vs the Gorilla cold air intake , my car was running a little bit richer. and where my car made peak HP, the AFR was nearly identical (11.46 compared to 11.45) I think a tune would do Wonders for this intake ...

its odd that the Intake moved my peak torque down the rpm range so far ... or maybe the peak would be at about the same rpm range, if the AFRs stayed the same between the 2 intakes... hmmf

423 on 91 octane is insanity. Please tell me you've got water or meth injection?

I generally believe anyone running over 400 whp without race gas or E85 is a nutcase.

Nope, no water or meth, no E85 or race gas. Just a very thorough build and tune. The timing is relatively conservative. The boost isn't that high for the setup and turbo (the newer version of the hta ball bearing fp red) and whilst tuning we didn't even push it to knock. I'll attach the dyno below.....

This isn't the best dyno that we have either because we were doing the fourth gear pull on a road that wasn't quite long enough so we couldn't push it past 7000 rpm. But since we were just doing a re tune since I had just installed my front mount we didn't care because the previous tune showed that the power and torque curve never dived after 7400 rpm, it just leveled out smoothly. Cory did a great tune.
