Thanks for the update Matt, and thanks to those of you who have paid!!

We still need 7 more people to pay by the 25th of this month to ensure this track day happens! If you're on the list, please get your payments in by the end of next week!

Did anyone contact the I-speed/LIC guys? How about Subydude? Any word on if the S-squared mobile can come?

No, because this is an instructional school for the purpose of getting us licenses so we can take advantage of cheap open track time later. It's not conducive to what the vendors want to do (not that they have nailed down the format or even the intent of the "shootout" yet anyway).

We weren't planning on attempting to "officially" bring vendors out, however I did mention this to SubyDude a few months back and he said he's interested. I PM'd him when we started planning in ernest, and I never got a reply. Also, if Nate or any of the S2 guys feel like coming out, they're definately welcome! I'd love to see the coupe out there tearing down that new front straight!

So what's the format going to be with just 16 drivers? We'll be sharing the track with random people at random time?

I believe we'll have plenty of drivers, since lots of people tend to sign up for these things at the last minute. However, if we don't have enough to close the track for our own use, there will be test-n-tune sessions interleaved with ours. So while groups A and B are in the classroom or on the skid pad, there will be open track sessions for the test-n-tune people.

Our sessions won't be on course with test-n-tune cars, but the addition of test-n-tune sessions may reduce our track time.

Actually, we really need 15 people paid by the end of this week! That way we'll have time to consolidate the funds out of PayPal and cut a check to the race track.

So, if you're one of the people that have signed up and have not paid, please help ensure this event will happen and get your payment in by this Friday!

If you can't afford to pay the entire $200 this week, please contact me via PM and I'll see what I can do about taking parital deposits. At this point, every dollar will help to get this event on Reno-Fernley's callendar!

If I manage to finally get that stupid insurance check this week (highly likely) you will have my payment.

Link is fixed... looks like paypal must have changed something on their back end.

The paypal account is: paypal@seccs.org

Thanks!
