Speaking of that, apparently the bitch was just released today after only serving 3 days in custody. Exactly what I was thinking.

Driver's in a firesuit, gloves, helmet, seatbelt, roof, etc... dude in the back is like "fuck it"... overalls, not even a hat or goggles, no seatbelt, sharing a low sided truck bed with heavy machinery spinning at 62 mph...

The story dug up at NASIOC was that the guy was sold the wrong thread size lugs. So they went on, torqued properly (probably cross-threaded), but weren't really tight, so they all came flying off as soon as they were loaded.

Probably the same deal as Aaron's brake caliper fiasco from a while back.
