Thread necromancy!

We got a puppy this weekend. Her name is Mal and she's part Lab and part Catahoula.

And here is our cat Gizmo being cautiously optimistic about the puppy.

Actually its short for Malachi, or Mallory (as its turning out).

I don't think that I ever posted pictures up of our dog that we adopted last summer, so here he is.

This is Maxwell and he's a great dane. He's a little guy thought only 29" at the shoulder.
His ears are the best. They are the emotional equivalent to a bushy eyebrows, so expressive. He loves fetch and the couch.
He's pretty much the best thing ever.

Here's a photo with some scale. I had him jump in the tub and wait while I took a picture.

Yeah, giz is awesome. About 10 months old, and super friendly (albeit a little shy at first). Hopefully the new dog doesn't change her up too much.

thinking I'm going to give her some of my pasta and fish a few minutes ago

And after she actually had some of my pasta that fell out of my mouth when I was telling her to go lay down

I had a cat that played fetch with a water bottle cap. I also taught him kitty boxing and he lost a tooth.

Here's our little mop/vacuum. She's pretty cool for a little dog. She's super social with other dogs (and people once she meets them).
