Can somebody paypal nicole on my behal I can't paypal right now because I don't have a bank account to get money from at the moment. Obviously, anybody that takes care of this for me needs to be here so I can pay cash (or pay at the campsite I guess).

Kevin, I need to paypal Nicole too, so I'll just double up payment. That would probably be easiest for obvious reasons. I'll send it when I get home.

For a moderate sized group like this, I would almost say we should do at least basic stuff as a group, like buy hamburgers, cereal, etc... and let everyone else bring what they want. Drinks, snacks, side dishes.

Thats my vote, but if thats the case, that'll mean everyone's gotta kick down some more money, at a meet or paypal or whatnot.

we were talking it over a bit tonight, and it'll probably be easier for everyone to bring their own stuff.

I figure it's much easier for people to just bring enough food for themselves and perhaps something or other to share.

Which reminds me, I need to bring you a 6 pack, don't I.

ok everyone.....the camp site #'s are 127 and 129. When you get to the Donner Park enterance the ranger will direct you to the site.It is in my name (Nicole Del Carlo). There will be an extra charge for your cars though I think....not sure how much and I think they only allow so many cars at each site...so we can figure all of that when you all show up. See you all up there! Any Questions call me or PM me....I think most of you have my number. Oh bring quarters if you want to shower!

So it's looks like I won't be off till late on Friday.

So maybe saturday I will get there. What do I need to bring? I don't have a tent or sleeping bag or anything. Am I going to have to buy "gear"? So far my checklist:

1. Food (for me and little for friends)
2. Charm and Whit (package deal)
3.
4.
5.

I'm bringing up a couple 36-packs of Pepsi (one case for Scott and Kevin, one for the rest of us....), couple of big bags of chips, cookies, and a 4-5 person tent, 2 pads, and 2 sleeping bags, so there will be spares.

And if noone needs a tent, I'm sleeping in my damn wagon

Is that a 4-5 person tent that sleeps 3, or a large tent that actually sleeps 4-5?

I was planning on not using a tent, just my Army sleeping bag. Tyson, if you can get a spot in Sybir's tent you just need some blankets and stuff.

It'll sleep 3-4 easy, 5 in a pinch.

Like I say, I've got an extra bag and pad, and will most likely throw in another comforter as well, just in case, but I've got at least a couple people covered (har har)

Just so you guys know. It is really cold at night up here. Last night was 35 at my house. Expect night time temps to be in the high 30's to low 40's.

My family schedule is crazy this weekend, but I will show up several times throughout the weekend. By the way, what's with all the pepsi, I know some of you guys/gal drink beer, right?

Hey, that's just me shopping

I don't drink much (takes way too much alcohol ) so I figured I'd cover the non-intoxicating substances. Ain't nuttin' wrong with beer. I'll throw in a cooler and some water, too, just for kicks.

I'll be hitting Walbogs for some new camping crap (all my old stuff is at teh parnet's house... plus, it's old...), so I should be cool, w/ perhaps some room to spare.

Also, Nick and I were thinking about making a Costco run Friday (assuming I can get the day off work) to bring a cooler full of meat, etc. to share with the people that can't bring perishables. (No freebies though, have a couple bucks to chip in with if you want to eat our burgers! We is broke! )

I'm hoping if I can get Friday off work, that Nick and I will be able to pack up in the morning and leave for the site around 1pm so we'll get there just shortly after Nicole arrives to help setup camp.

Oh, and I'm missing Solo1 Trials out at Lovelock for this, and I'm taking a ton of heat from the SCCA regulars, so this camping trip better be fun!!!

This will be FUN cause I will be there(he he he he)! Anyhow some things you will need to bring and I am sorry if I repeat myself...... Quarters for the showers, string to hang up your towel or wet clothes, LOTS os blankets and a pillow( it dose get very cold there at night.....like in the 30's).I have one camp stove but it is not big enough for everyone to use so if anyone has one please bring it, lantern( I have one). There are two sites and only two cars per site are allowed to park at them ( SO FOUR CARS) there is an area that the extra cars can park at. Aaron...since you want to sleep in your car...one space is yours. Firewood can be bought at the campground.Stuff to cook with, to eat with...etc( yes I am a mom...LOL)
I will be there at between 1 and 2, camp site 127 and 129...there will be a charge for cars when you get to the gate.....see you all there.

Good times.

Nick, thanks for taking us around the lake in your boat. We all ended up trying to get on the road before traffic (don't know how successful the west bound people were), so we are all back at our respective places. I tried to give you a call to let you know our plan, but the line was busy. Thanks for everything!
