Default CEL and flashing Cruise light

So after we changed my clutch on Saturday as soon as I turned the car on I had a CEL and the Cruise control light was flashing. I called Juice and he said that the CEL was from the Lightweight flywheel. But that doesn't explain the flashing cruise light. I just wanted to get some other opinions of what it might be. Also my cruise control doesn't work now. I mean the car seems to be running just fine minus that exhaust leak on the dp to catback that I was too lazy to fix.

Thank's in advance for any help.

Some CELs disable the cruise control and flash the cruise light. Why Subaru did this I dunno. There are several things it could be. Maybe you forgot to plug a sensor back in or something. Get the code read at Kragen or come by and I'll do it.

Light flywheels sometimes cause misfire CELs. I don't think the cruise flashes for that one but I could be wrong.

Get the code pulled. There's over 300 things that could be the cause of a MIL coming on. We could guess all day...

As I understand it, the lightweight flywheel caused CEL is a misfire code that usually results from letting the flywheel slow naturally in neutral or with the clutch in, since a LW FW will decelerate more quickly and the ECU doesn't like that.

I'd reset the ECU and if it comes back, get it read. FWIW, my ACT Streetlite flywheel has never caused a CEL.

Ok i'll take it to kragen today. I dont think i'll be able to make it out to north reno to you matt. I'll update the thread with what happens.

The car seems perfectly fine minus that one thing. I checked all the wires and connectors on top of the tranny last night and everything was on there snug and in the right place. haha Joel busted the grounding wire on top of the tranny and We had to Electrical tape it back on there.. That may be the problem?

Like I said, I'll go to kragen and see if they get a code. I took it to Cory (renosubby) last night and he didnt get anything and he reset the ecu. But i'll try again.

How did I bust it? You clowns didn't unhook ANY of the plugs and I noticed them while we were lowering it. Its not my fault if it snapped on its own while I was taking the nut off. pssh

That ground being disconnected isn't going to throw a CEL.

WTF? Subaru codes only go up to like 17xx!

http://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_cod...obd2-codes.php

You sure it's not a "P1245: Wastegate control solenoid valve malfunction (fail-safe)" because you popped the T line off, or reinstalled it w/ the restrictor pill in the wrong spot or something?

God damn Kragen tester... I never touched the restrictor pill. And I'm not familiar with the T-line you're talking about. Sorry, still a noob. haha

I'm gonna guess "P0455" which is a gross evap leak. Check evap lines both under the car, and to the engine. It wouldn't be a small crack or anything, it'd be completely disconnected.

^I think that's the one I get like once a year. I can never find an issue and resetting the ECU gets rid of it.

You will find a box under the back of your car opposite the muffler. There are several hoses attached to it. I guess you can follow them around.

Ok. SO while I was picking up my truck from the shop today I had him hook his tester up to my car and I got the codes:
P2431- Secondary air injection flow rate
P2433- Secondary air injection system air flow psi sensor circuit high
P2444- Secondary air injection system stuck open

Now that I have the codes.. I have no clue how to fix them.. Help a n00b out? I gotta get this fixed.

Delete the air pump crap and have somebody disable the CELs. Or just have somebody disable the CELs. See this thread:

The valve that controls that secondary airflow (wherever it is) is stuck open, or disconnected. Aren't you still under warranty?
