Default Can anyone put maps on my v1 Accessport?

I don't have a parallel port on any of my computers, nor do I know anyone with one. I ordered an adapter cable from Newegg, but it converts usb to a male 9-pin plug, and the AP is also male. I tried Moondog multimedia for a female-female cable or a gender-changer, but they didn't have anything. Should I try looking at Best Buy? Is there anywhere else I should try? This is such a simple issue that's frustrating the hell out of me.

I have the USB adapter for my AP. I got it from Best Buy. You are welcome to come by and borrow it.

It is serial, not Parallel.

Any USB adapter should have a male DB9. You can't plug it directly into the AP, it requires a 9F-9F Null Modem cable which should have come with the AP along with a AC Power Supply.

I have all of the above and could load maps for you, and may have a spare f-f cable somewhere if you need one.

I also have a Full copy of street Tuner for your car for sale cheap if you are interested. Even if you don't tune your car, it has great ability to log and to watch real time data, etc...

I spent way too much on the USB>Serial adapter, like $60 at CompUSA IIRC. But I'd be happy to lend you that and the null modem cable that comes with the AP or load a map for you. Would only make sense if you live close to Stead though, probably.
