How retarded do you have to be to accidentally throw a plastic controller at your tv, from several feet away, hard enough to break it? I mean, IQ less than 50 or so? Enough brainpower to sustain a heartbeat and normal breathing functions, but less than is required to maintain functional control of your limbs? Wow...

That's a good point. Breaking a controller is one thing, but breaking a controller by wasting it on your screen is way out there.

I'm all Wii'd out!

I headed down to M3n3c3's GameStop at lunch today and picked up a pair of Wii's... one for me, and one for nKoan (who better pay up when he gets back from Vegas!! ).

Now all I need to do is draft a legally binding document that I can pass out at my house anytime people come over to play that states if they throw a controller through my TV, they're replacing it. Or maybe I should just get a 5'x5' sheet of optical quality plexiglass.

I guess that depends entirely on how many nights are spent on the strip (or in a strip club)

Thanks again man. I'll call you when I get back into town. Also, FWIW, the Saturn Vue is quite possibly the worst rental car I've ever driven. Its in a close race with the Kia Sephia.

I had a Chevy Cavalier rental in Vegas once, I swear it had been used in a homocide. Smelled like a dead body, and it drove like it had been jumped over a curb at 55.

If it was white it was totally my bad, but what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

Does this mean Nintendo will be buying new TVs for the idiots that broke theirs?

That comes later during the class action lawsuit. I figure since Nintendo is basically admitting the straps are weak, they're opening themselves up to replacing damaged property. Poor Nintendo... hopefully the judge/jury will recognize that they're addressing the problem in a quick manner and already doing the right thing, instead of making them buy hundreds of TVs.

I like it. The virtual console thing is pretty cool, I fooled around with it last night a little.

I wish there were a few more games out, but the system has just been released, so hopefully the games will pick up in the next few months.

Every Nintendo game ever is going to be able for purchase... at least that's what I understand. My friend has already downloaded every Zelda game they have released so far.

Up through the N64 I believe. Gamecube games won't be available for download.

HAHAHA, I'm sure Nintendo's goal was to have every Wii owner sue them...
