Deal, did somebody say Deal? Oh, Dean, yeah that's me.
Default Wanted: Stock STI A pistons (new)

There used to be sets on eBay all the time, but nothing now.

I am thinking about throwing them in the '04 block, but not at crazy prices.

What are the engine builders doing with all the pistons they pull from new stock blocks they buy?

If KSpeed doesn't have any lying around then try Crawford Performance, I'm pretty sure they just toss new pistons (and rods) out of OEM blocks to build their staged blocks.

Crawford or Outfront Motorsports. Both sell sets for about $100 with 0 miles. Either might be glad to have someone asking for A size too.

A is the larger ones, so it is what many ask for.

I have some at kspeed from my 07 motor that had 22k if you are interested. Not sure if they are what you are looking for, but I'm sure you could swing by and take a look at them.

How many miles? Why did you pull them? What do you want for them?

Why did you pull them? You have an 07 STI block? What do you want for them?

He pulled them only to replace with forged. Out of a low-mileage 07 STI engine - 22k miles.

Dean, give me a call at the shop when you get a chance - 284-1011, or my cell. About another piston-related subject...

Matt

That's right. Somehow I got it backwards in my head even though I bought a set of A size for the Forester last year.
