Default Brakes( Help!!! ) .. lol

I am not sure if you guys have had Install meets lately, but I am looking for some help in the Install Department.. lol
As you all know I am not Mechanic Friendly or know the "How to's" of an install .. I was wondering if its just easier to get a shop to install brakes (Pads) on the WRX than it is to do it myself...???

No, I've only bought pads online. I'm not sure what the best option would be...But this is SECCS..I'm sure someone has an opinion

Deal, did somebody say Deal? Oh, Dean, yeah that's me.

Best prices on Pads locally/Mail Order is TireRack. Need to call to order and tell them you will pick them up in Sparks.

Hawk HPS are probably a good bet. Khail might be able to get you a deal on them for less.

The job is pretty easy for anyone who can turn a wrench. Pobably a good time to flush the brakes as well. That takes two to do a good job.

Check this thread out for choices. In your case for a street car, the ATE or Motul are probably great choices and should last a couple years with great results. http://www.seccs.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2365

You can do it yourself, the question is if you want to. If not, Sid's Aligmnet and brake on 4th will do a good job, and get you the pads for less if you mention SCCA, and us Subaru Folks. Talk to Sid...

I'm off Saturday, I'll be happy to assist whoever needs brakes done (unless the weather's shitty or we have a garage). You guys can pick a place to do it, bring your parts, and I'll show up with the tools. I no longer have a floor jack, but if no one has one we can just use the scissor jacks in our cars.

The Brembos are easier because you can change pads without removing the caliper. Us mortals with regular brakes need to nbolt the caliper first. Not much harder, just takes more time.

11 should work for me too. I'll drive out there, you don't need to come get me Sergio. Unless it's on your way or something, but I don't think it is. If you or Mike can get directions for me, I'll be set.
