Default Azenis!

I need a new set of azenis for thunderhill in january, mine are too worn out for 2 more track days.

Unfortunately tire rack's website doesn't list the azenis sports, so I don't know if they carry them, and discount tire direct looks like they no longer have an outlet in Reno. I started looking around sacramento for somewhere to buy them and have them installed the day before the track day, since I am going down early to go to s-squared that day anyway. The best deal I can find so far is a shop only a couple of miles from nate's for $137 installed.

Can anyone think of any better options?

For $100 I'll let you burn the remaining tread off my Azenis, they should get you through a track day no problem..Plenty of life left. That will cover my cost to get them dismounted and mount my RE070 back on.

You can borrow the Azenis on Rota Attacks that I currently have. I wasn't going to keep the tires anyway, so you can use them until they're shot for say, $50?

Definitely want two sets of tires, as it is likely to be wet at least one day at Thill, and you may need to get over the montain. Remember that track days eat less tire than autocross, especially on a new track to you.

Wow you guys rock. Kevin, since you are cheaper ... err ... your price is cheaper, I will take you up on your offer!

BTW Dean I plan on driving over the pass on my snows and swapping wheels there. If it rains I will decide on the day whether to use my snow tyres or just stick to the azenis.

Sweeet. I'll go clean the 12 months of brake dust and melted rubber that Scott left on the wheels off now.

Cool. If you don't plan to use them, I'm sure they'll get snapped up by someone on here if you're selling.

Nate has a Leg turbo sedan right now with stock RS wheels and 215/45R16 Falken Azenis on it, and it's dumped (think Battle Wagon dumped). Stock size with wRX or RS wheels should be no problem on your car.
