Default STi Projectors Installed!

I got my projectors installed last night. The look fucking awesome!! The light output seems to be about the same, but the pattern is VERY crisp and directed. There's a real sharp line like this: _____/---------- so oncoming traffic isn't blinded, but you get a ton of light on the right for street signs and stuff.

However, I'm not happy with the wiring... the WRX's lights are negativly switched, and the way they're wiried right now the LOs are on with the LO switch, and the HIs are on with the HI switch... it really should be LOs on with LO switch, and BOTH HIs and LOs on with the HI switch. I also have an issue now with my Hella driving lights coming on with the LOs and HIs instead of just when the HIs are on. So I gotta get some relays and wire them up better. Plus the relays will make it easier to wire up HIDs in the future if I go that route.

Check the pics!

Yeah, they're pretty mild, and look pretty stock... but they work better (if I can ever figure out the wiring better) and look good on a "sleeper" car. Since I'm not planning on doing any crazy kits or anything (just some STi parts at the most) the STi projectors fit the car IMO. If I were going a bit more exotic, it's all about the Morettes!

Oh, and my stock lights are pretty banged up.

The left one's got a busted black bezel (Kahail was nice enuf to hook me up w/ a replacement that I never installed) and I think the light itself is loose on the inside.

Plus the lenses are all marred from sand damage. Basically to fix those lights up would require taking the lenses off, sending them to a plastic shop for polishing, and doing some repair work on the innards of the left light.

Okay, I got the wiring sorted out, but to be honest, I fixed it accidentally. I was just hooking it up two different ways to test something and noticed that everything was working as planned.... so I'm leaving it! Here's the wiring diagram:

If anyone knows how the stock stuff is all wired up (esp. the fog lights) let me know so I can understand why all this works!
