Default NEWEST EVO dyno numbers.

Hey guys, i just went down to Gruppe-S this weekend to get some parts installed and some dyno time.

Newest mods:
Hks Cams (264/272)
Hks Cam Gears
Head Studs
Head Gasket
Upgraded Fuel Pump
Perrin Fuel Rail

These numbers are on a Mustang Dyno, that from what i hear, reads equally as hard as s2. There is about 20-30 more hp to be gained and 20 more torq. The ECU was cutting fuel because it thought the injectors were going to max out (which they weren't) so it was only allowing me to run 19.5psi. With the new head studs and head gasket i should be able to run closer to 22.5 psi (and if i'm correct 1 psi = 10 whp on the dyno) also some other stuff could be messed with to get more power once i get new injectors (which probably wont be for a while) like the sprockets, fuel, boost, timing, AFR, etc. So i'm not all too disappointed with the number. but check out the torque! It feels great for autox!

see you all thursday!

enjoy

What timing are the cam gears set at? Vishnu spent hours and hours and hours testing cam gear timing (I helped to do some of the wrenching; Super hot 4G63s suck to mess with ) and they settled on 5 degrees retard on both sides for best power gains.

I would give my left nut for that torque curve! That will rock at autocross

It's Gruppe-S.

Nice numbers Mike. So is your car faster than Ryan's now?

I bet Nate can get close for around $1,800 instead of a left nut!

haha, i wouldn't be trading anything for my left nut! but yeah, i'd say the car is faster than ryans.. however, from what we can tell from "trial and error." there is no running away from that WRX! maybe after a little dyno time and injectors things will be different...

Not when you factor in the shredded transmission

I was about to change my signature:

I loved modding my WRX but eventually there is that last expensive but really cool mod, a STi!
