Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once
Default Minimum tread depth for AutoX

Hey guys,

One of the persons coming to the event from G-ville with me is going to be running a 04 or 05 Dodge Neon STR4 Stage 1. Its front wheel drive with good tread life on the drive tires. However, the rear tires are either at the tread indicator, or very close to it. Say 3/32 of tread life, the tread indicator is at 2/32. Anyway, they want to know if thats going to be a problem. They don't want to waste their time by coming down and finding out they aren't going to be able to race. The guys driving the car is a Police officer, with CHP road coarse training.

If you can't see cords, you're golden.

Well, I have lots of experience running from the cops, so that's good...

I always wish more SRT4's would autocross, but their owners seem to put more value in straight line racing., in this area anyways.
