Default Firefox (or browser debate)

So I got Firefox going b/c I'm paranoid of IE now. Well I see all the tabs but I don't see how you instantly set a page as a tab? Currently I have a bunch useles tabs up there!

MattR, I took your copy of office space last night I hope you are not missing it.

I use firefox, but I've never bothered with any tabbing or "features." I just like it because it doesn't crash and give me ass loads of spyware.

If you are still getting popups from IE, but are now using Firefox, you still got some adware on your system.

Firefox is awesome! There are tons of extensions you can add to make your surfing time much more fulfilling.

http://update.mozilla.org/extensions/

Quote:
What is an Extension?
Extensions are small add-ons that add new functionality to Firefox. They can add anything from a toolbar button to a completely new feature. They allow the browser to be customized to fit the personal needs of each user if they need addtional features, while keeping Firefox small to download
A few of my favorites:

Adblock 0.5.2.039 lets you right-click on an ad and make it disappear forever.

Paste Quote 0.3 Inserts [quote] tags around the clipboard contents when you right click and "Paste Quote"

DictionarySearch 0.6.3 Looks up selected word in an online dictionary

Super DragAndGo 0.2.3 Drag a link or anything like a uri (e.g. "abc.com" ), and throw it to anywhere blank on the webpage to open the it in a new tab.

Firefox > * , I switched earlier this year and I've never been happier with a browser.. IE was simply too unstable for my tastes, as well as being a major hog for memory and loading like a slug (or my Geo for that matter)... I urge anyone that is on a windows platform to give it a shot.
