Default bad night for my car

I so pissed off right now. some asshole broke into my car last night, with slimjim and somehow disabled the factory alarm. they got away with:

JL audio sub,box,amp
indash navi system
roomates tom tom
helmet
ipod
accesport
cashiers check for 50
mini air compressor

they basically striped everything i had inside the car. now my remote lock does not work, i have cut wires everywhere and dont know what to do about my accesport. I hate thives that dont know how to work and get their own shit.

Ugh.

File a police report... and start the whole insurance process. Hopefully you can get enough cash for the missing stuff to replace some of it with some newer/nicer gear?

Where were you parked? If it was at home... you're probably going to need some additional security. Maybe a decent aftermarket alarm... though a lawn chair and a glock will probably work a lot better.

Damn, sorry to hear that.

If you have the serial number on the AP, Cobb might watch out for it if somebody tries to get it unmarried.

You can probably get the cashier's check stopped with a police report.

Sorry to hear it. It's such a bad feeling to be violated like that.

Like Scott said, file a police report. When some of my things were stolen, I still got my pda back. (It showed up at a pawn shop.) But I was even more happy that the stolen property led the police back to a thief.

It happened right outside of my apartment in sacramento (natomas). I did the police report and called the insurance and they say that as long as i can get recipes they will cover everything that was installed in the car (hopefully that includes the accesport). i talked to cobb and they said that if i have a police report (which i do) they will sell me a new ap for 350). Guess i just need a alarm and a new helmet.

Man that does really suck. I had my car broken into so many times when I lived back east.

On a lighter note, I've got some killer Chocolate Chip Cookie recipes!

Sorry to hear about more theft. I hope the theives get what's coming to them, and you aren't out too much. Hopefully a better alarm will prevent it from happening again.

Sorry to hear about that Little Bugger! Next time you're at the lake, gimme a call. I've done 2 dash harness swaps now and am getting good with those wires. If anything, we can at least figure out which wire is which and make it look pretty. Oh, and BTW, that was me working on that GMC when you drove by the shop last time you were in town. Thanks for stopping by puto!
