I have 4 that I inherited from Tim. They are all 205/55/16's I believe. I'll let you know when I go home what kind they are and verify the size.

2 re92s, 2 other tires, all 205/55/16 with variable tread depths including one brand new tire. None that used though. Hell they might all be new but I'm not entirely sure. Your best bet would be to take a gander at them when you are in town I think. I'd post pics but I gotta get my camera back.

I have some 225/50/16 Toyo Proxes 4's on my stock rims. These tires are wide for the stock rims but P4's are "designed for plus fitment applications" so they don't squirm too bad and they're the right outside diameter.

They probably have 25% tread left and they wear like iron and have excellent grip. I'd trade for snows or sell them for $100 for all 4.

Thanks but 225 sounds to wide for my stockers even with "plus fitment".

I thought "plus fitment" basically meant "low profile", 'cause "plus sizing" a wheel means going up to larger diameter wheels, while maintaining the same over-all tire diameter.

For example, a stock WRX is 205/50/16, so a +1 fitment for would include 225/45/17.

225/50/16 sounds like a +2 fitment for something like a 195/65/14, i.e. a tire for someone putting some 16's on a Honda Civic, hence the comment that they're designed for "plus fitment".

No prob. I'm running them as much as I can this summer since I want real snow tires on the stockers come winter. My poor Rotas have cobwebs on them.

Aw ok...seems you're correct according to the one website I googled really quick. Makes them seem way less impressive. They are great tires though.

I just remember back in the day when I slapped some 17x9's on my Thunderbird, I was broke as hell and told the tire place to give me the most affordable 3-season tires that were a +2 fitment on a '95 Tbird. I think I ended up with some 255/35/17 Dayton's (which I believe used to be Bridgestone's cheap brand). But it didn't work out that well, as the tires were pretty undersized. I hit the indicated 105 mph rev-limiter at like an actual 93 mph.

Actually, putting a wider tire on the same diameter rim is call +0 sizing. Putting 225/50-16s would be a good example of plus zero sizing...
