The way out is through
Default It's our 3rd Anniversary!

This November is SECCS's 3rd anniversary! So happy anniversary everyone.

Also, congrats to the club, we've hit 300 members! Everyone say hi to norcalsvx!

Thanks to all for making our club a cool place to hang, both online and at the weekly meets.

I'm (slowly) working on getting that new hoodie designed, as well as getting a new batch of SECCS stickers in the works. Unfortunately, work's been busy so I haven't had the spare time I've had in past years, but we should be able to have hoodies and stickers before Xmas.

It's the off season right now, but next year should be interesting on the motorsports front. We've got the new Reno-Fernley track layout for next season, I think SECCS will definately have to put on an event there! Also, with the new boost rules in SCCA autocross and last season's novices moving into competition classes, we should have a great season of autocross next year as well! Plus, expect to see an expanded SCCA Solo Trials program next year, for those of you itching for 100mph+ cone dodging!

I'm thinking that a new meet location might be in order, to ring in the club's 4th year. I don't know about everyone, but as great as Bully's has been to us, I'm getting a bit tired of the food. If anyone's got any recomendations, let's hear 'em!

Finally, as the club expands, and we gain new members, I'm hoping to see some new people with new ideas step up into "leadership roles". Early on, we had people like MattR and I that took the time to organize pre-autocross donut runs, and install days, etc. Unfortunately, with our busier work schedules and deeper involvment in the SCCA, we haven't had the time to organize things for SECCS events as much as we used to. I'm hoping some of you newer members (and older members as well!) will have the initiative and time to organize more club events. Things like install days, or go-karts, or the pre-autocross 7am Krispe Kreme runs!

Thanks again to everyone for making SECCS the best car club in the Sierras!

Happy 3rd to us! I can't believe the 300 members in 3 years thing, weird. Anyway, 2006 should be an awesome motorsports year, especially June.

Happy 3fd anniversary! I've been here for 2 years now, and its been great. This club rules :sappy:

I really can't wait for next years auto-x sessions. Hopefully if the STi's finally move into BSP and I stay in ESP, I can stand a chance at being competitive Well, maybe not. I still have a lot to learn at auto-x, but I have a feeling next season I will be doing a significant amount of that learning.

And track days, oh track days. Damn, I can't believe I waited this long to get on the track. Man, and I was hoping to save a little money next year too

An EVO and fixing it.

Happy anniversary all. Hopefully my schedule will allow me to venture into autocross next season. Track days are addicting although hurt the wallet more than autocross can.

Wow, 3 years. I blame my involvement on Debbie and her WRX wagon.

I had plenty of turbo charged AWD cars, what the heck did I need a WRX for. For some reason they are irrisistable.

And what a group to get caught up with... It has been a wild ride... Heres to 3 more.

I've been involved in quite a few car groups from moving around and SECCS is by far my favorite. I hope the next years are as good as these last ones.

I blame my involvement on Dean and his Audi, and getting me hooked on autox.

I blame my involvement with Reno subaru enthusiasm, on Sperry & Mattr & Art (but can't remember what his screenname on nabisco was) and Tyson. :-)

Happy 3!

Wow, it's been a while now... crazy. This is a good group, and even though I don't see you guys very often at all I still enjoy posting on the board.

And you want me to mount tires for you!!??!? Ha!

(j/k!)

I frankly am glad to have found a group that's not full of little street racer morons looking to get tossed in jail, or the morgue! (like that jackass from last thursday's meet!) It's awesome to have a group of people with a similar interest, and such diversity!

Thank you Scott!

I love this forum. The parties up in Reno are always fun - looking forward to making some runs over a snowy pass for some more 3am eggs benedict at the peppermill in the coming year
