Default JDM EJ25?

I doubt any of you would know, but does anyone know the current specs or anything on the SOHC JDM EJ25? Gruppe-S has one cheap and I'm very tempted. I tired the SOJ site, but my lack of Japanese is owning me.

There's a JDM EJ25? I thought all the JDM cars were either 2.0L N/A, 2.0L Turbo, or 3.0L N/A!

Holy hell, that's an interesting motor... what car does that come in? JDM Forester or something?

Looking on Subaru of Japan's site, it looks like the Forester STi comes with the 2.5L turbo w/ AVCS.

Wierd, I did not know that. I thought it was, like sperry said, 2.0l N/A, 2.0l Turbo and 3.0l 6cyl N/A (along with the 600cc k-cars and stuff like that).

As you can see, ive ressearched it before Good stuff, although the AVCS EJ20 seems to be better.

I just wish they had those motors last year...

Yeah, but what JDM car has a 2.5L N/A motor?

Now I've learned two new things today. The Outback has a 2.5L N/A offering in Japan.

JC, I doubt that a JDM EJ25 is any better, cheaper, or more reliable than the TWE stuff you were talking to me about the other day.

If the wiring is the same, you should install it yourself.

JC, let me be the first to say that if you take this advice, I expect to be on the invite list for the CarBQ.

I will the bring marshmallows and beer, but based on my past history of torturing children and small animals I am not allowed to own metal coat hangers so someone else will have to bring those...

Just dont knock the fuel line loose after reinstalling the recirculation pipe like I did and he will be fine.
