Default To all you IGT guys! (or Dean?)

Sorry to bother you guys with this, but I'm in an IS class at UNR and we need to interview a CIO (Chief Information Officer). It'll be about 15 questions, possibly something that can be done by email. If any of you know someone, or is a CIO, could you please help me, and my group, out. Let me know.

Thanks Guys.

Oh, and the presentation is due by September 18th...

That'd be my guess. Most of us here at IGT are software engineers, not IS people.

Plus, you don't want to talk to our IS guys... I can't imagine they'd have anything useful to say. At least that is if they're as useful to you as they are to me. It's 8:45 pm on 9/6 and here I am at work trying to fix the problem w/ my PC that I submitted to them on 8/28 they can't seem to fix.

I guess when I said "this need to be fixed ASAP" I should have been more explict and said "this needs to be fixed right-the-fuck-now, even if it means you're here until 5am in the morning formatting and reimaging my machine and restoring all the project files on it because if you don't I can't get my software written, and if I don't get my software written, we don't go to the gaming show on time, the SB project fails, the new NAS and NSA departments are disolved, and fucking Jon Wade will eat his goddamn Cherrioes out of our fucking empty skulls come November."

I guess ASAP in IS language is "start on it at 4:07 pm a week and a day after it was submitted and if it's not working by 4:27 pm, just go home and wait until the submitter contacts you again about it."

Go big or go home dude. Start emailing all the REALLY big companies, like Microsoft, GM, GE, etc... maybe you'll get really lucky.

If that falls through -- Patty Evans used to be head of IT at Washoe. Also, Sue Orvik has had this kind of role in one of her past jobs. I realize they're both part of the scca crowd, but if you let them know you found them thru the subaru club, I'm sure they'd be happy to help, time-permitting.
