Some of the old 80s NASCAR races are pretty fun to watch; much more of the old school bump & run. I noticed in one Darlington race that they showed way more in-car footage than they do these days.

Yeah, I think MattR made me watch an old Las Vegas race from the early-mid 80's. It was actually kind of a fun race to watch.

That was a Phoenix race. Old NASCAR footage shows you why Darrel Waltrip and Dale Earnhardt had such bad reputations. I swear Earnhardt never made a single clean pass between 1979 to 1987.

Hell, even into the mid 90s. There was a Bristol race I think in 1995 where he got caught out and lapped on a pit stop, and got pissed and spun out like 15 or 20 guys on the way to get his laps back and win the race. Rusty Wallace threw a water bottle at him in the winner's circle.
