Default New Enkei Wheels

... the NT03+M

They're not really "new", as I've seen them on JGTC cars from like 3 years ago... but I just found out what wheels the are, and that they've got 'em in Subaru fitments.

And Matt, the dual valve isn't for running an inner liner, it's so you can put a gauge on one valve and add/remove pressure from the other.

They're a little heavy in the 17x8 5x100 +48 size I'd use (18.3lbs), but if they're not too expensive, I think these will be my track rims!

I really like the hyper black ones they're a little bling, but still really good looking.

I can't believe it, but thin spokes are starting to grow on me. Nice wheels.

Call and ask... If Enkei USA has them, they can get them... In fact, in most cases the drop ship straight from Enkei USA, saving one leg of shipping...

Both sales guys I've talke to there are pretty knowledgable, and I think that is all there is, 2 of them. Box movers, but know their stuff, and get responses from Enkei in minutes usually.

I'm not so sure about the dual stem thing... And I would think you would put them on opposite sides to balance better... I'll pass.

By the way, I don't think they can adjust the pressure of the inner liner after it is installed. At least that was the way it looked on the WRC inserts that Nicky showed us on one of the last events this year. A quick Wheels and Winston search found wheels with only 1 stem hole, maybe Austin knows for sure.

I didn't think the inserts in the WRC cars were air filled. They're just there to help prevent punctures, and to prevent the tire from completely shredding in the case of a puncture. Basically they're solid run-flat deals, unlike the inner tires that NASCAR uses.

As far as balancing the wheel with 2 stems... I guarentee the variance in the rubber is still, by far, the bigger factor in the balancing requirements of the wheel/tire combo. What's a valve stem weigh in contrast to 18lbs of rim and 30lbs of tire?

I dunno off the top of my head... I did a quick search too and couldn't find anything conclusive.

I figured as much, since I saw them on a 2002 JGTC car. However, I think they may have just been released to the mainstream US public, since I'm just now seeing them in US magazines and on US Enkei reseller's websites.

The prices I've seen so far put a set of 17x8" in Subaru fitment at about $1200. That's just a little more than the RPF1's that are already on my car.

They were probably bank and a half before they got officially released to the US market. 'Course, I'm just speculating.
