Default WTB: Wheels!

Looking to buy some wheels for my 07, 5 on 100. I'm open to look at just about anything but chrome or those really gay ones that spin when I'm at a stoplight You guys would never do that anyways, right?

Check our classifieds, or do a search. I swear we answer this weekly/monthly...

From Last Month

Tirerack.com
Discounttiredirect.com

Both will mount and balance and give you a package deal with tires.

TireRack's warehouse is out towards mustang, so you can pick them up locally.

Discounttire isn't local but may be cheaper and shipping is free.

Yeah, did check the classifieds and looked at the same old places I've always looked (Discount and Tire rack) when buying wheels or tires. As any cheap bastard would know though, you just don't get the really good, cheap prices that you get when buying used. My buddy scored some Rotas w/ tires for 500 on this very website. I'm not getting anything even close from discount or tire rack for that. My WTB post was not asking for advise on where to buy wheels, it was to hopefully stir up the guy who has a set of decent wheels in his garage and hasn't been able to decide to keep them or sell them. Someone will crack
I could even go for some nice Sti wheels (pre 05 was still 5x100?)

Sorry man. You didn't say used, cheap or mention size or much else besides bolt pattern and not spinners and there have been a number of posts for used wheels of varying sizes in here over the last couple months.

You might want to be a little more specific in the future.

Check BAN SUVS' fundraiser sale thread. . . seems he's considering selling his SSRs for a ridiculous price.

I've got a set of inexpensive wheels and tires that I'm considering selling. Wheels are 17x7.5 ET40 Exel brand mesh rims, gunmetal with a polished lip. I used them for about 3 months before putting winter rims and tires on, so they are pretty new. Tires are 235/40/17 Bridgestone PP S03s, I would guess they're about halfway done. I had the tires on my old wheels before these, I didn't go through half the tread in 3 months. Here's a pic of the rim, I can get actual pics tomorrow if you're interested. I have painted the centercaps satin black and removed the emblem. I would like to get $450 for the set.

Yeah, I hear ya. 17" no bigger than some 18"s, 5 on 100mm. As far as offset, thats kinda why I posted here, you guys kinda know what fits already.
Thanks.

Will consider. Any way I can come see them? Any idea on the weight of these puppies? I tried finding them and didn't have much luck.

I have a set of dark bronze Konig Blatants 18 X 7.5 et 45, 5x100 I could get rid of if you are interested. They have Wanli S-1000 tires that have about 40-50%ish left on them, looking for $350 OBO.

Sure, if you want we could even throw a couple on your car to see how it looks. I'm not sure of the exact weight, but I would guess in the 18-20 lb range per rim.
