Default Another Noobie with a Subie!!

Hey guys,

I live in G'ville. I just bought an 05 STi Silver on Silver. Anyway, I had heard from another guy who lives in Minden that there was a bunch of STi and WRX owners who meet at Bully's. The guys name is Larry and he has a white on silver STi. I would really like to join the car club, I'm also gonna see if my friend will join too. He also has a Silver/Silver STi. We have twins. LOL

My STi will be fitted with a short throw shifter Monday Morning (3/21), if the weather holds out.

Here are some Pics when I got it home.

Sweet. Congrats on the car. We meet every thursday night at 7pm at the Bully's on the North end of Reno on the corner of Robb Drive and Mae Ann.

Yes, at least I am coming tonight. I'm gonna try and get ahold of the other guy, but it is kind of a last minute thing.

What usually happens?

My name is Brian, I'm 26.

Matt, Thanks for posting on the STi forums. I was starting to think there was nobody around in Northern Nevada. I would have found you all eventually.

Great Site guys. Thanks for all the instant responces.

We usually hang out front and look at each others cars, then we go inside eat, drink and be merry. Usually while watching speed channel. It's good fun. Plus it helps make the weekend come sooner.

Cool, you fit the demographic too (26 yo has got to be our average).

We usually hang around and check out new parts, or if theres a new member, show off some cars, etc... Then have dinner and/or drinks, usually watch some speed channel, just general BS stuff. During racing season we usually talk about Autocross events, track days, etc. Basically, just an excuse to get together and talk about cars.

We've had anywhere from 12 to 16 cars lately, and as the weather gets better, the attendance goes up...So try to make it out...
