Default Alpine Skiing tomorrow

So far it looks like Debbie, Mike H, Tyson, David, possibly sick Nick and myself. Since we are a fairly small group, we are adjusting the meeting times slightly. First off try to park in the Subway parking lot as close to the Subway lift as possible. There is a small ticket stand at the base of the lift and given it is a weekend, you can probably purchase your ticket there ($39.00). I will be at the bottom of that lift at 8:30 am. I think that lift starts a little earlier than the main lifts. We will then meet again at 9:00 at the bottom of the Summit six lift. The next meeting time will be at 10:30 (sick Nick this would be good for you) at the same lift, and finally at 12:30 on the sundeck of the main lodge: where the band is playing.

Tyson, let me know if you can't find poles today.

See you all there tomorrow morning.............Sunny and 60!

I was going to go to the Alpine shop & rent equipment. Maybe I'll rent here in Reno tonight to make it easier to meet up.

Edit: I see, Subway chair is beyond the main lodge. I presume I can park there, walk back to the lodge for equipment, then walk back over w/equipment to the meeting spot at the lift.

If you decide to rent equipment, do not park at Subway. Park as close to the main lodge as possible and make one of the meeting times at the lift. It is too far to carry the equipment around. If you can rent in Reno, it will probably be cheaper and easier during your ski day.

Thanks for the tip - probably I'll make one of the later meeting times then. And that way I can get some of the falling down out of the way.

Ok , then let's make yet one more meeting time that will certainly assist you in the falling down part - on the Sherwood side of the mountain they have what is called the ice bar. If anyone is a straggler to the other meeting times in the morning, let's meet there at 11:00 for beers!

No problem, most of the folks are only making the party also. See you there.

Yes Northstar does, but you must use their equipment. I think they are the only one though.
