Default Saturday 22 July Club Trials Pictures

Went out to RFR today to watch some cars go fast. Got some pics of some cars sitting around and some driving. The action pics will have to wait until monday but here are some others.

Scott's and Matt's cars: (The both drove well, they can fill everyone in on that.)

These wheels I didn't get the details on so Scott or Matt will have to fill in. All I remember is they are 9.5" wide, and look damn cool.

That doesn't look like a Subaru wheel arch. Was it just the shape of the wheel that was cool? 9.5" and wider wheels are not uncommon on big HP RWD cars.

That's an Audi I believe, but on Rota P-45Fs like Nick says. He has been out to a couple autocrosses.

The wheels had something to do with Soobydude... One of them will have to come explain. I caught the tail end of the conversation, and Scott asked if I had got a picture of it.

That A4 is Noel's car. He's, like Matt said, been out to several autocrosses and trials events. Cool guy, sweet Audi.

Noel and his brother Gilbert are from California, but they like coming up here now & then to join us at some of the Reno Region events. Cool guys, glad to see they made it to Fernley for this.

The action shots are on my phone. I need bluetooth to transfer them... Hopefully by tonight. They're not gonna be high quality either.

But here are more pics:

Another of the A4.

Less ricey than the carbon fiber ones I've got sitting on my work bench, and better aero than just having the holes in the bumper w/ exposed intercooler pipes.

OK crappy pic, because it was on my camera phone, and I was paying attention to the flagging job; not taking pictures.

But here is Matt following Scott down the hill:
