I don't know why you're getting so defensive, you're the one who's being a dick implying that the rest of us are idiots for not having our own businesses yet.

I wasn't trying to knock your spelling or grammar skills (you'd know it if I was), I was telling you that I literally can't understand some of the points you're trying to get across, because you're not communicating very well. How the fuck are people supposed to have a conversation if one of them isn't speaking the language correctly?

... and while the number of posts read ‘666’, an obnoxious tone settled over the readers’ minds, and were broadcast to the written word.
Quickly, she entered another post, thereby breaking the spell.

To all who read this particular thread,

I probably should'nt post here but for the sake of unity, I'll take my chances. First, the tax thing sucks no matter who you are. This includes my husband (MikeSti) who pays a crap load of taxes. But give to Ceasar what is Ceasar's. His main tax breaks have nothing to do with having a family, instead they come from other areas available to all. In fact before this year married people were penalized. However if you ask me--and I know you aren't asking---The child credit isn't welfare in my eyes, just a bonus for producing future tax payers of America. Michael should be the first to proclaim that you do not have a family for the tax breaks, you have a family because it is the foundation of comfort. A place where you belong, a place filled with unconditional love. He got a little emotional and defensive today. Very often people criticize my husband for his spelling errors. Well, what he lacks in spelling he makes up for in his heart. In fact in that department his cup runneth over and over...and over...and over....you get the idea. A heart that is giving and strong and the heart is what we are measured by. But his heart was broken, so he turned cold-it only takes a second. I wouldn't have posted, but to injure a man's heart....well it's worse than being paralyzed from the waist down guys.
As you can see he went back in to fix his posts. He needs to offer an apology to those he unintentionally offended. The problem today is that we all want to pick each other apart and point out each others flaws. It only makes us angry and bitter. I thought my husband had joined a group that was focusing their energy on racing. Don't you all have parts to buy and engines to tune? I'll even offer my oven to melt a few more headlights!!!
As far as college graduates, I think my husband has tremendous respect for college graduates (Considering his wife has a Masters degree in Theology). I am sure there are a few apologies in order, hopefully they will be received. I urge you all to be kinder to one another. We are all different, and we all lack in something. James 3:2 We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to keep his whole body in check.

May you all be richly blessed, always. This post was not meant to offend but to unite a group of people who all love the same thing. CARS!!!!

From previous threads on this board we have all seen how the "government" threads get out of hand.

Since I know everyone on the board I can “read” the feelings in their respective posts. Although it may seem that rudeness and contemptuous posting seem to have steered this thread I know we have really nice and civilized people behind it.

The cross post disagreement is certainly welcome. When we have blatant personal attacks sometimes I do worry but I still know it’s just a forum and I only regard it most of the time as silly conversation.

Miahmarie you can post all you like if you can get the computer away from Mike!

Wow, this thread blew up in a bad way... that's what I get for setting off a fire cracker, and then leaving to go work on my car.

I'd just like to appologize for my some of the things I've said in here. If anyone, esp. Mike felt offended or personally insulted, it wasn't my intention.

Mike, I've got nothing but respect for you, and your achievements, and your wonderful family. I consider you to be somone that tells it like it is and not one to hold punches in a heated debate, and I assumed that you'd be able to take my comments at face value and not read any malice or disrespect into them, as there was truly none intended.

The whole spelling thing isn't really that big of a deal. We all know that spelling errors and typos are common when you're pounding out a post in a heated debate, and normally I'd just ignore them since normally they have no bearing on someone's argument. I guess I just couldn't resist to call you on the "but edjumacation ain't no that impertant" argument. ;)

We all have strengths and weaknesses. (Hell, I'm the guy that uses a calulator to play darts because I can't subtract 17 from 299 in my head) Just because you're bad at spelling doesn't mean we don't think you're smart... I think everyone that knows you personally knows how intelligent you are. Just remember that spelling and grammar effect your argument on a written forum. Simpy proof read your post and/or hit up spell-check before clicking the submit button. I make just as many errors in my posts as you, I just don't submit them.

As far as political debates on the internet... well, they almost always turn out with people disagreeing, and no-one really ever changes someone else's opinion. But these threads aren't worthless... even if we have to agree to disagree, the process of debating does actually allow us to analyize our beliefs, and discover other points of view (even if you don't agree with 'em). To be honest, I think the world would be a better place if everyone participated in semi-civilized discussions like these, because then there'd be far less people that just mindlessly believe what the media tells them, and more people that think for themselves.

I definitely agree with that. :D
