Tyson Chicken

Well of the 3 or 4 things I cook teriyaki chicken I usally do a pretty good job of.

Chicken Drumsticks (Tyson Brand if possible, you don't have to do drumsticks but then you wouldn't being following my recipe, besides drumsticks pretty much rule)
Store bought Teriyaki Sauce (Cost Plus, World Market if possible)
Honey (Your roommates really expensive honey if possible)
Rice Wine (rice wine, not Arbor Mist there is a difference)
Orange Juice (you might already have this)
Salt/Pepper
Flour

Basically I take the chicken season it with salt/pepper and then dust that shit with some flour.

I take a big sauce pan, you know the one with like 6 inch sides. I think it's called a Dutch oven style. Then I heat the crap out the pan. I pour in the rice wine, and some OJ. After that starts to heat up to an almost boil I drop in the chicken. You should have about an inch of liquid on the bottom on the pan. If you don't have that much add more wine or OJ it really doesn't matter.

I then pour teriyaki sauce all over the chicken, I'll use like half a friggin bottle. I let it do a good simmer for about 10 minutes than I pour some honey on the chicken. The liquid base sould be getting low and starting to kinda boil. The wine evaporates pretty good to leave you with a carmel like sauce on the bottom. I'll add a little more or whatever liquid ingredient I feel like to up the liquid content a little.

I usally cook it for like 1.5 to 2 hours. Sometimes I cover it in the begining to help cook the chicken. Later I leave the top off. At the end you should have a sweet sticky sauce at the bottom of the pan you can drench the chicken in.

Be sure to keep an eye on it because the sauce can evap pretty quickly. If it gets to low you might burn the chicken if that happens you fuckin wasted like 4 dollars of chicken, and trip to the store.

the end.

I'd cook more often if the TV chefs had advice like that for me.
