My question is, how do we introduce appropriate avenues of racing to them? I suspect there's no coolness to be found in autox, track days and such, whereas street racing is thrilling and dangerous...

At the VCHC, they used to let driver pairs (i.e. Doug Hayashi & Wayne Mello, sp?) chase...

That was Alan, when I saw him at Atwater he was selling that car, since he bought a corvette. I would have LOVED to have bought that car, but it sounded like it would've required much maintenance.

The courses were fun to drive and a challenge, but I think the openness presented Pat and Jim an extra challenge in AS where the horsepower of the STi's and Corvettes benefitted. Fun weekend anyway!
