You don't have to drop a tire into the dirt to spin out the M3. I too have a big problem with getting the entry speed just right. I never bothered to look at the speedometer though.

I can't comment on the realism, but from what I remember of last night, the car spun out a few times (usually when Alex was driving. :P ) so it can't be all understeer.

I'd run my Toyo Proxes 4's. They're M+S rated...

I'd run my Toyo Proxes 4's. They're M+S rated and they work okay in the snow. I'm sure they'd be fine, but they're wide and the tread pattern doesn't look anything like an offroad tire.

I think any positive number is okay. The number indicates how much the ECU has decided is safe to add on top of the basemaps. I'm pretty sure only negative numbers would indicate the ECU pulling...
