Is it possible to leave it married to your ECU and still sell it? Or would you have to completely divorce it to sell it?

You could sell it for a reduced price. People buy them at a greatly reduced price because for something like, $100 (not sure on the exact amount), Cobb will "divorce" it.

What Dean's talking about is similar to Cobb's Protuner software, but free. Cobb's Protuner license stipulates that tuners can't also tune with OS software. However, some tuners have picked up software that's not opensource, just cheap as hell so you don't even need to pay for a licence, just the tune. The AP does make map switching easier though.

way to pose a screen name....haha you have to comletely divorce an AP to sell it for it to be useable otherwise to my understanding it is unusable if that makes sense...
