Yes, I'll fix it for you. Again.
Default Optima source

So, where has everyone been buying their Optimas lately?

I'm going to guess the internets, but talk to Cory first- he has a generic (or more accurately, non-Optima branded) version in his car that has lasted years and cost about half what an Optima usually costs.

Is it an Exide Orbital? I had one in the SVX for a while... it lasted longer than a Red Top. But the SVX demolishes gel cell batteries because of some crap about bad power frequency or something from the alternator. My plain old wet cell battery that in there now has latest 3 times longer than any gel cell had in the past.

I've just bought my Optimas from Kragen/O'Reilly since every time I need one, I need one right now to get the car started.

Cool, thanks guys. The wife left the ignition on in the LSi and pretty much killed the old red top in there. I'll try an Orbital.

Quoted because I've just recycled all three of my red tops. The walmart replacement I picked up two years ago for one of the cars is still going strong, considering it gets started twice a year and never charged, that's not bad. Batteries hate me
