CD Player
Last night my CD player started skipping and then said "Check Disc" and now when I put any CD in they all say "Check Disc". Could it just not be working anymore? Is there a way to fix it?

But seriously, the lens could be dirty or jarred out of alignment, or worse, it could be scratched. If it's every CD, it's something with the CD player. FYI: I'm about to take the single DIN head unit out of my truck to install a Pioneer double DIN so I can use a back-up camera. I'd be happy to sell it cheap to you if you want a older but decent deck. It does CD/mp3, iPod, and Sirius.

You could try something like this in case it's just dusty, but it's probably toast.
