Default Oil Leak:

Okay. So I finished all the mods and fixed the exhaust leak. After putting everything back on, it seemed I was seeping a little oil for a oil hose above the parks plugs. Wasn't a horrible amount, but something I would like fixed. The hose itself is held on by a basic butterfly clip. Maybe if I get a stronger clip?

Evan also checked this spot on his car and also seems to be leaking some oil from the same hose.

Basically in this picture, the hose runs into the black thing above the spark plugs towards the top of the pic.

Ignore my crappy paint skills...I am at work.

Well, I can't tell what it is... I can't even tell what side of the motor that's on for sure, since the airbox or the battery/wiper bottle have been removed... I guess it's the driver's side of the motor, yes?

edit: wait that looks liek the brake lines running to the ABS controller... that must be the passenger side then. Either way, I don't know what the hell's leaking.

That's your breathers, if i'm not mistaken Small plastic plate, about 1 inch by 3 inches, looks like Idaho?
A little seepage from the hose coming off that isn't too bad, it means you're getting a bit of oil pulled through the intake. High RPM's will do it, or vacuum from the intake (which happens on turbo cars....)
I'd just snug down the clamps a bit (careful, those covers are just ABS plastic.....)

okay, it is passenger side.

I got a responce from nasioc as being a line that ultimatly connects to the PCV valve. I had replaced the PCV right when I noticed the problem, so hopefully that soves the issue, either way, a better clamp will be applied.

I am going to install a oil catch can which someone said would correct this problem. I figure its a smart thing to do anyway.

My oil catch can is bone dry... yet there's still oil in my I/C hoses. I'm wondering if my can's hooked up properly.

That's just the thing... I've got oil in my intake track, but none in the can... doesn't that seem wrong?

I don't think I'm trapping from all the breathers... ScoobyMods has a thread:

http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/sho...=&threadid=693

I'm setup like the photos, and not like the diagram at the end.
