Power steering rack rebuild?
I am surprised how little information appears to be out there, or how inept I am at searching for it.
Has anybody ever rebuilt an Impreza rack? I am pretty sure I have a leaking input shaft seal. Would not be surprised to find the outputs bad as well since the boots look like they are in bad shape. Is there a kit that includes all the seals and boots, or are they individual or not available. I have seen "rebuilt" racks listed as whole swaps, but not much on doing it yourself.

The FSM should have the rebuild procedure. Not sure about a rebuild kit though.

I have a rebuild kit (somewhere) for an impreza steering rack. (non STI unless it is not specific) . I ended up just replacing my rack so i never used it.
