Hell no.

Workflow training... it's a visual programming tool for Visual Studio. Super fun... except that I'm done with the 45 minute lab 20 minutes before the we're supposed to start working on it.

I'm sure karma will come right back around and slap me in the face with some training soon.

Today is worst than yesterday... ugh.

Plus, because we're in training, we're being asked to work this weekend to make up the time "missed". I've got a wedding on Sat, tickets to the Historics on Sun, and a hotel in Monterey thru Tuesday.

Yeah, not everyone needs to be here this weekend. Just take the time off, and enjoy yourself. I'm sure someone can cover for you.

None of this training is as bad as the training I have to do for bagging groceries.

Which hotel? Any plans to visit Carmel?

Seaside Holiday Inn IIRC. Probably not hitting Carmel... Historics at Laguna Seca on Sunday, Aquarium on Monday, heading home on Tuesday.

Day 3 just took a turn for the worst:

What's worse than watching a movie instead of a lecture? When that movie is just a voice-over of the slides that are in the book handed to us.

So, not only are we just sitting in the dark watching a movie on the projector, it's just a movie of someone reading the book that we have in front of us.

If it weren't for the bottle of Mt. Dew in my bloodstream, I'd be asleep under my desk.

So, you've started mainlining Mt. Dew now?

Well, from my experience, its better to mainline the syrup (be sure to cook it a little in a spoon or something).
