Default Kaminari Brake Ducts

I got a quick tour of Kaminari today. They are working on some nice suspension stuff for the WRX. They also have a pretty nice brake duct kit already up for sale for the 04/05 (06/07 coming soon) in carbon fiber and fiberglass. The 04/05 inlets goes overtop the STI foglight covers (mod'd). Cory's friend Ray does all the impressive development and fab work there. Here are some pics I found on Teh Google:

Those are very nice.

I'd like to see the brake portion on a car though. Hose routing is a nightmare on these cars if you actually want to be able to turn the car and not rip them off on rumble strips, etc..

Yeah, couple issues I saw:
1) With 17" rims the steering cannot turn full lock-to-lock. Maybe lose 3-4" of steering wheel travel each way. Was told that for 18" rims it's not an issue.
2) The ducting is 3" (I think) and runs underneath the subframe, so your point about them being exposed is prolly valid.

Speaking of subframes - they are working on a killer tubular one that has lots of x-bracing and looks really impressive.
