Post Cars currently needed for KSTech product development

I am usually looking for test cars for new product development. Sometimes I just need to measure and test fit, and often I would like to run and log the car to see results. Compensation ranges from favorite beverages to free parts and tuning, based on what stays on the car and how long I have your car down for. Often I can do this at your place at times of your convenience. Also I can come pick the car up where you work and do it while you are at work to save downtime. Sometimes I may need the car for a day or longer. For professional references please PM sperry, DaveWRX, or marleyjb. They have done this for me in the past.

Currently I am looking for the following cars:
  • Any year WRX, STI, LegacyGT with a rotated turbo kit. Working on cold air intakes and airboxes for these cars. Need to take measurements, then later test fit the intakes.

  • 2005+ LegacyGT with stock-location turbo. Developing cold air intakes on the Marleys' 08 STI and I need to test fit on the LGT (same platform) and take pics. Nick Koan has volunteered for this, so I think I'm covered.

  • 2006+ WRX, 2008+ STI, or 2007+ LGT whose owner wants to delete the air pump and air injection valves on the car. I will supply the parts needed and assist in the labor. I want to do a detailed how-to on this and need to take pics. I can disable the CELs in your ECU afterwards. "Off-road use only"... of course .

Thanks for any help.

+1 for Matt. He's had my WRX apart on several occasions for intake testing, hood scoop fitting, etc. He's always been meticulous with the testing he's done and has always made sure my car is back as it was after he's done.

Remember, helping Matt design and test parts means we all benefit from having local access to the nicest bits!

I've got you covered for the stock turbo Legacy GT man.

Sam(iheartSTI) is the man you want to talk to about a rotated setup.

Thanks. It should be about 2 weeks when I have the parts.

Thanks for the heads-up. I have been in contact with him for other projects. His is a custom set-up and I need more of a commercially-available kit. There are differences between all the rotated kits. I may still check his out anyway.

+1 for Matt. He just finished up an intake for my 08 STi. Everything is top quality. I will gladly be giving my car to him again for any other testing/fitting that he needs to do on the 08+.
