i installed a new clutch 2day and now i cant get the clutch to disengage i looked inside were the clutch fork is and had a friend push the clutch in and the pressure plate moves back i torqed the pressure plate to the 11 pound spec.. i adjusted the pedal and bled the clutch sence everyone seems to think that is it but nothing is diffrent any idea ??

Did you make sure to install the clutch disk in the right direction? There is front and back.

Not claiming to be an expert, but pull/push is which way the cable/cylinder moves, not which way the clutch plate TOB moves.

In fact Dean, that does make a difference in which direction the TOB moves. On a pull type setup, the bearing moves away from the engine when you release the clutch disc. On a push, it moves toward the engine.
All I can do without seeing it is suggest things you've likely already heard a dozen times: Do you have the right clutch disc? Is the clutch release fork pivot pin installed correctly? Etc...

oh yea its a compation stage 4 6 puck clutch i hear they have shitty throw out bearings should i go get on at subaru and use that on instead maybe?

Did you make really sure that you got both arms of the fork into the throwout bearing? When I was installing my last clutch I had a pretty good view in there and for some reason it was really easy to get only 1 side of the throwout bearing hooked up with the fork.

so i think i fixed it i took it off the jack stands and it worked great lol...................... idk if i should take it apart again to see what the hell is going onn or if i should just leave it

So you were trying to drive your car on jack stands and then you took it off the jack stands and now it works.
