Cruise-Aru #3 - Subaru Enthusiasts Car Club of the Sierras

Its that time again! There is no autoX the first weekend of August, so we will be cruisin' on the 1st. However, there will be pre-determined stop spots because we will be driving the same route as the first one. And for those of you that didn't go, (oh wait that's right, none of you guys went!) here is how we'll be doin' it.

Meet at UNR by the intramural fields (behind Mackay Stadium) at 8:30am. LEAVING at 9am!!!

We'll stop in Auburn at either Awful Annie's (deli) or Old Town Pizza on Sacramento St. (they're right next to each other, so take your pick)

Our next stop will be in Placerville at Lumsden Park for leg stretching and pictures

Then we'll take 89 towards Tahoe City, and stop in Incline at T's by the 7-11.

This is a 6 hour, non-stop drive so bring your ass pads and kidney protectors. Once again, as usual, tell your friends and family who love to drive their Subies too! We had a great turn-out last time, let's see if we can get more than 10 cars!

P.S. And just kind of thinking out loud, if anyone has any radios to bring, do so. No cell phone use in Cali for the drivers

We'll see about the route. I figured I'd let people fist fight it out for the route they want to drive. We still have a while to figure it out. Im down for the dirt, but I did think that maybe some kids from Sac might want to meet up with us if we do the Auburn route. Just my 2 cents. Please discuss...

Here's the thing, it depends on how many people show up. If there were only a handful, I was going to see how opposed everyone would be to going to a car show in Sac. No one has to enter, its free, and there's a BBQ. But if we keep the original route, there will definitely be a shorter one probably the first week of September. I'm leaving to go to UTI shortly after.

Its not a big thing. I was only going to get everyone's 2 cents and see what they wanted to do. Its at UTI so if you go to their website, you'll find it. Although, we'll most likely be driving. You gonna go Alex?

If you guys meet in Auburn I could definitely meet you there coming up from Sac. The dirt route sounds pretty fun though. So I'm cool with whatever both sound fun. When will people know if they're doing the dirt route? Because that would take some advanced planning for me.

Do you have a number I can call you at? There will be no dirt this trip. However, there is a slight possibility that we might go to a car show at UTI too. You can PM me your number if you're not comfortable posting it up (obviously). I could call you the morning when we figure out what we're doing.

I missed it too, I really wanted to grab some T's!! Ended up having to make a last minute trip to IKEA for missing parts, so I was tied up. I thought they were the greatest thing since sliced bread when I first went there, now I am beginning to hate them as much as I hate walmart!!
