She got lucky and took it in the forehead. As long as the melon hits something hard enough to split it open, nearly all the force goes into exploding the melon apart, rather than into your face.

The last two videos gave me an idea. Someone needs to get those birds to listen to an F1 car, then have them around the Ferrari World park singing engine downshift sounds.
