Meets? We have meets?
Default WTB: Stock bugeye springs/struts

Possibly trading in or selling my car soon, would like to put the suspension back to stock beforehand. Let me know what you guys have and how much you want. Thanks!

I have stock tophats, maybe just rear but I feel like the donor struts I bought came with tophats too. Let me know if you want me to check.

I have my stock 04 suspension. Don't know if that fits though. What are you doing with the springs you have on there now?

Cody, thanks but I don't think I'll need 02-03 tophats, I still have my stock ones on the car.

Joel, I think it will fit my car with the 04 tophats. Do you have those too?

On the car now I have Prodrive springs and KYB AGX struts. I will probably be selling them, since I don't think I'll be getting another Impreza. I've been looking for either a Forester XT or a Legacy GT wagon.

Good luck on the LGT wagon... I was looking for one too... best I could find: there were just two '05 Outback turbo 5MT wagons on the West Coast, and both were pretty beat. I got super lucky finding my 09 Outback XT 5MT here in Reno on CraigsList after I had given up on finding a 5-speed turbo wagon.

But if you're cool with an automatic or the 3.0R or 2.5 non-turbo motors, there are tons of wagons out there.

Moving from bugeye fitment to 04+ fitment is a little tricky. It's just the rears that are of concern, but in order to put 04+ springs and struts in your car, you'd only need rear tophats with 04+ fitment. If you wanted to do 04+ springs on bugeye struts, you'd also have to do the washer mod (which I ran for a long time) or the spacer TiC sells, just in the rear.

I thought the washer mod was just for wagons.

Negative. The only difference between wagon and sedan suspension is the extra neg. camber you get from wagon fitment struts. Wagon and sedan fitment is interchangeable other than that one thing. When you see springs that are "wagon fitment", the only difference is the spring rate in the rear should be relatively higher than the same spring with "sedan fitment". But my Eibach wagon specific Prokit springs had a saggier butt then the Crucial springs I run now. The ratio of front : rear spring rate is actually closer on the Crucials even though they aren't "wagon specific".

I have some 02 springs if you want. They've got alot of miles on them though. And I dont think there worth much. But there just sitting around if youre interested.

I haven't heard back from Joel yet, but if his 04 setup won't work then I might need to get your springs and track down some struts. Thanks for the offer.
