I tried to buy my car in the game, but I couldn't find any Bugeyes for sale in the Used Car lot... I'm hoping they'll turn up later.

Also, has anyone noticed when they take their car to the Tuner Village (or whatever it's called) and checked out specific parts for their car that there's an extra "Original" option for parts over the options at the dealer?

For example: I brought my R34 to the HKS shop, and there were 4 suspension options instead of three: "Sport", "Semi-Race", "Full Race", and the added "Original". I'm guessing "original" isn't a very good term, since I was thinking OEM... I think it should be called "Custom", since it looks like a custom tuned part from that tuner for that car.

So anyway, I got the "Original" HKS suspension for the Skyline, and checked out the settings... it looks like the full race suspension, except it doesn't have independent bump/rebound adjustment. Which explains why the price is a little cheaper than the full race deal.

Anyone have more details on these "Original" parts?

Yeah, Walmart had tons. Best Buy had some too. Toys'R'Us had plenty. EB had quite a few. Good luck Nick.

They'll show up later, just check the used car lots occasionally. I just bought a blue bugeye with the Subaru Giken kit (wrc-look front bumper and wing)

I'll bring up my card, you can always buy it off my card if you can't find one.
If anyone finds a black legacy GT-B like mine, I want to buy it this weekend.

Oh, for quick money.......
Costa d' Amalfi special conditions race (the second set of special conditions races) with a ~250hp car, (I used my GT-B wagon) you race an integrale, a GT4, or an old quattro. Win both races, you get 10k and a Toyota RSC rally raid car worth $260k. Rinse and repeat; when you go to race again, it will let you clear your win record for that event so you can win the prize car again. 20 minutes of driving will get you almost 600k.

But how else do you get that extra bit of realism?

Sweet... Josh is in the hizzle!

If you look at the cage, you'll notice that's not attached to the seat/wheel rig. It looks like that guy has a pretty nice wheel setup (something that I've been contemplating building ever since I used to race online, but that I don't have room for... yet) and a cage that's wating to get installed in a car. So he tossed the cage over the virtual cockpit, put on his helmet, grabbed the camera, and hilarity ensued.

Here's an old pic of my setup... I've since replaced the wheel w/ a newer Logitech (the old one broke) and the pedals have been cut down to just 3. I'm also still in the process of re-wireing the pedals for compatability w/ more games.

Ok, it bears asking. Why were there ever 4 pedals?
