			STI now have 18K miles have I lost the manuel.  When should I change the tranny, diff, transfer case anything else?  What kind of oil should I use where?  HELP!!  Try to get ready for auto-x tomorrow.

 Changing the tranny fluid is easy. Make sure you open BOTH drain holes though. Replace the Rear diff fluid with the factory stuff, I would recommend using the factory fluid or equivalent in the rear end. My Tranny fluid was burnt and nasty at 25,000 miles, so I think you are at a good point to change it.

			I think its recomended at 30k.  The way Matt drives it could be 15k

			We just bought Royal Purple and we gonna return it.  OK I'm sold on Redline Shockproof (lightweight correct?).  I saw only one big drain with the protection ring around hole where is the other one? Do I fill thru the dip stick hole? or side hole like real diff. Any body have sti manuel CD (like e-bay) that willing to sell me a copy. We might not make it to auto-x tomorrow.   |
