Club Trials June 10-11 Lovelock???
So, who's in? I know Kevin and I are signed up, but haven't seen much from anyone else. This event will have a pretty low number of entrants, as it usually is a smaller event. What that means is a lot of seat time.
The format basically comes down to a very high speed autocross on an airport tarmac setting. It's a pretty crazy event, but lots of fun. Last year Mike K and I were getting into the mid 5th gear range in the Sti's, so as you can see it's a very fast course. Anyway, info can be found here at renoscca.com I will be leaving Saturday morning and only staying one night out there in Lovelock.

if someone wants to lend me a set of wheels with tires that have tread, i'll go. but it's a big weekend for me: my house will close friday or the following monday, sunday is my wife's birthday, i wanted to go to the rallycross at willows, and then there's this event.

Not to discourage anyone, but unless you are very comfortable making steering inputs at relatively high speed I would think twice before participating in this type of event.
Even though the runways are much wider than Hawthorne, they are runways, not a track with designed runoff. More than one car has been damaged going off at these events. Heck, if I remember correctly, 2 cars have been damaged on the tarmac, impacting cones at these speeds. Again, I am not trying to discourage anyone, only make it absolutely clear that this is not an autocross/Solo event like we have at Stead, and therefore contains correspondingly more risk.

Not on the way... I got all the way to Lovelock, took the first detour turn, and somehow missed the second. It ended up taking me an hour and 10 minutes to get back to the freeway, because I kept trying to get to the airport blind instead of backtracking. And if my cell phone had gotten here in time, I could have tried MattQuest, but I didn't have it yet. By the time I knew exactly where I was, I figured that the driver's meeting was over, I was hot, I was pissed, and I went home after stopping at McDonald's to chill out and read the paper.
As for Night Court, other than some cameos by Richard Moll (But I'm a Cheerleader easily the funniest) and a couple lame shows hosted by Harry Anderson, nope, ain't seen nothing either.
