I saw that on Nazioc, very cool indeed, I'm glad they're going ahead with that project.

LGT track car> Impreza track car. Reduced drag FTW. I wonder if I'll be able to stumble on a used race LGT in a few years?

Looks like another Legacy GT will be running in Grand Am this year as well.

ICY/Phoenix racing has build a Silver Wagon to debut at Lime Rock.

*Sigh*

They built it with two proportioning valves in the brake system. That is not a good design.

I'm guessing it's because they left the stock dual circuit intact so the ABS will work. They probably just adjust the RF/LR and LR/RR each w/ their own valve but keep the valves at the same setting.

What's the problem w/ that?

Ahh, if it's to keep stock ABS working then never mind I guess. I was thinking a valve each on front/rear circuits. As an aside, P-valves suck in general anyway, dual MC's with a balance bar give better response.

Hello,

Just thought I'd poke my head in here to tell you guys that I'm now the new Crew Chief for GOTO:Racing's Grand-Am Cup Legacy GT. I'm bringing with me my 3 years of experience as Gary Sheehan's Crew Chief in USTCC, my work on the ESX 25-Hour STI, and a whole lot of giddiness - we're taking names and kicking butt on TV now

I actually joined GOTO right before the Phoenix race, in which we got more than our fair share of coverage. We're prepping for Mid-Ohio (the car actually leaves this weekend) and this looks like it should be an incredible weekend!

That's cool dude, I had figured you joined Gary with ESX. Look forward to more updates from GOTO.

Hey Joel, welcome to the board! You probably don't remember me, but I met you at a USTCC race at Infineon a while back when you were crewing for Gary in '03 (I was the tall guy poking around the car a bunch). I got some pictures around here somewhere.

Anyway, it's cool to have you on the board, drop us some updates before or after your races, lots of us here follow the events on TV, but we love inside information!

Welcome Joel.
Met you at Infineon before a USTCC race also, (Audi Club ran the 2 days before, were I ran my wrx wagon), and offered you the loan of my transmission (I think that's what broke on Gary's car during warmups?).
Congrats on the Crew Chief appointment!
