These are some of the worst ideas for a track car I've ever heard. That hi-temp silicone hose is used for a reason, it flows a decent amount of air and it withstands high temperatures near the brakes. And your backing plate that attaches to the spindle needs to be a sturdy, well designed metal or composite piece, not some hacked up snorkus.

To the second "what" He said that the hose dragged on the ground when the suspension was compressed. So I was merely trying to think of something that was flat and would still move air to the brakes. Third "what" The air intake thing is too big. I can see that. I was mainly considering the shape of it. To me it looks like a good shape that would suck up to the brake duct in the factory bumper. I didnt know that it needed to be so hi-temp. I dont have a track car so I dont know how hot it gets nor to I claim to. I just knew that my car has thin plastic fender liners next to the brakes and those do fine. Sorry if I threw out some of the worst ideas ever. Scott, what weight are you looking for, whats the weight of that kit dean has?

No, just two. One through the front side windows, and one through the back.
