Ha - I go with the 996 purely on looks! I used to think the 80's 911's looked wicked, but the 996 rules. I love that smoothed-up appearance. Dean beat me with the DeLorean. DMC > ALL if you replaced the drivetrain with something cool and overkill. I didn't know about that rakish Benz with the gull-wings. I'd love to see that car in person.

Okay, you can pretty much put any rally car in any category, so lets see how this goes

US: Ford RS200 (I love the Group B and the road version, but this Hill Climb version is too sick)

UK: Aston Martin DB9 R (Prodrive)

Japan: Toyota Celica GT-4 (two generations worth)

Germany: Porsche 959 Dakar

Europe: Lancia Stratos Safari (plus new concept Stratos bonus points)

Too many French cars, so I'm cheating and adding a new category
France: Peugeot 205 T16

Awesome! Me and my dad just went to angels camp last weekend to pick up a 1969 Mg Midget, and a 1964 Austin Healy Sprite. They're the same car jsut rebaged, also motor sizes and gear ratios were different. The Healy is just a shell with front suspension, so me and my dad, and the guy we bought them from, lifted the car and put it into the bed of the truck! It was awesome!

Yes! The M1 race cars rock! I think I told some of you already, but I saw an M1 street car over at the BMW Haus next to Lithia's body shop. Friggen sweet!

Mmmmm…. Me likes the wagons now, so I’ll have to say.
Impreza STi wagon (version 4?)

- the bling, no carbon fiber hood, role call or gauges + it needs tint. It’s beautiful.

Negative, it's a Version 4. 4 and below had 3 vents outside the fogs, while 5's and 6's had only 2 vents. 6's were just a 5 with an unpainted add-on lip.

That said, the front lip, sideskirts, rear spats, rear upper wing, and grill are all aftermarket pieces.

And it's hot.
