Whoops, I kinda forgot about this thread. I just updated my original post with these pics

17x8 Rota G-Force

17x8.5 Enkei ES-Tarmac

And...my next set isn't leaving Japan till next monday. But here is a preview pic.
AME Tracer FS-01 17x8 in Hyper Silver

5 sets in the 2+ years I've owned the car. Not too shabby.

They make them in 17,18 and 19 but I'm pretty much set on 17s as the best size for me.

my first set of after market wheels ever. 17x8 5zigen fn01r-c.

they have all season tires (re960). i originally planned to keep my stock wheels for winter but don't like how they look anymore.

Christ, how do you guys afford to go through this many sets of wheels & tires? That shit's expensive.

The tires are 225/45/17. i wanted 235/40 but they didn't come in that size. my other choice was 235/45, which would fit but the diameter would be too big when compared to stock for my liking. the tire fitment looks good on the wheel but i have to still stay away from curbs.

Buy wheels for $1000. Use them for a year or so. Sell them for $800. Repeat.

My first set of Enkei RP02's with RT-615's mounted was ~$850 shipped from Edgeracing. The second identicle set I bought slightly used for $750 delivered (to Roseville).

Thank god for tax refunds post home purchase. I'll need new tires mid-season.

Edit: I owe Khail for finding the 2nd set for me.

17x8 Rota G-Force
Have you or are you still thinking of selling your G-forces? I remember a slight fog of discussion about that while I looked for wheels for my old BG. I'd be interested in the start of summer if you are. 17x8, e48 bronze, right?

Wa da ta...Hadda ask.

I need some wheel whore input here, mostly color related. Opinions of gold on silver, or good color recommendations for crystal grey.
Thinking of what color I want for CGM. Gold RPF1's sounded good in 17x8. Rota bronze also sounded good, but...

Liking the hyper black, someone chopped these onto my car along with the tint, me likey but hyperblack rotas only come in limited styles of 17". These are 18" P1's:

2 pennies from anyone?

If they only made a 17" in these 9-spoke....next best thing tarmac 2 maybe. Comes in hyperblack

I never liked the shape of the spokes on the Tarmac II but I've heard that they're supposed to be the strongest Rotas but they're also one of the lightest.

Yep, I got a deal on one used and haven't felt a need to equip the passenger (it's already got a bugeye WRX seat). This is my daily driver, one expensive Recaro is enough.
